Andrew has over 35 years’ experience in the project management fields. Andrew is currently the General Manager – Infrastructure for SouthernLaunch.Space (SL) and is responsible for the design, government approvals, tender/procurement, construction and maintenance of rocket launch infrastructure. Andrew has spent the past 18 months managing the development application, design and environmental impact statement for the Whalers Way Orbital Launch Facility. Andrew has developed testing methodologies which have never been used in a DA in Australia before, including developing the methodology and approval to undertake 3 test rocket launches. This project is unique for Australia.
Clare Armstrong is an experienced, diligent Program Manager who drives outcomes within the government sector at Telstra. Clare leads the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Victorian Government contract which spans across 230 agencies consisting of emergency services, public safety, utilities, health care and education. Through the program office, Clare delivers complex technology projects directly into customer agencies. Clare utilises her strong delivery methodology skills backed by influencer and stakeholder management capabilities to drive successful outcomes for her customer. Clare has a strong record at delivering and leading large programs of work.
Gemma Wood is a Senior Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, seconded to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), responsible for the delivery of approximately $60 million worth projects for the Department for Education’s Capital Works Program “Building What Matters”. Responsible for six projects in various stages of Design, Gemma quickly took firm control of the projects to ensure successful completions, several of which were achieved significantly ahead of schedule. Gemma is exemplar Project Manager, known in the industry for being able to take on unexpected challenges under tight schedules and still achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.
Trevor was the program director, accountable for delivery of a two-year, $80-million Billing and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program for SA Power Networks. Prior to this, Trevor was at Origin Energy for over 15 years, during which time he led a $28-million information management program and was the IT Program Manager for a $230-million Retail Transformation program and a $40-million acquisition program that saw the integration of an additional 1.6M customers from New South Wales. He also managed a data migration as part of a larger transformation for Housing SA.
Luke brings over 15 years’ experience in project and programme management with expertise across a diverse array of infrastructure project delivery. He is recognised by clients for his capability in delivering successful outcomes to the highest standards. Luke is skilled in making decisions and in providing recommendations. He communicates effectively with a broad range of project stakeholders, discovering shared motivation to ensure their business needs are met. A dedicated, resilient and team-oriented Project Leader, Luke is experienced in representing his clients to resolve critical issues, plan and coordinate multiple work fronts so that the project’s goals are achieved.
